I LOVE the Friday Fish Fry, but they’ve got enough menu options for everyone to enjoy a meal. The fresh fish, awesome wings, burgers, and rib-eye steak sandwich are all delicious. Pair any meal with the beer or drink of your choice, catch a game on one of their multiple TVs and you’ve got a nice evening! Be sure to say hey to Natalie and Archie, they’re two of the best bartenders you’ll meet.

Gerald took Joshman and me to The Dam Bar & Grill for a much needed meal after I got back home from Mexico , and wow, the food and service was just as good as the first time. I couldn’t resist ordering their famous French onion soup. The soup was loaded with cheesy goodness and perfectly caramelized onions, making every bite pure comfort. The coconut shrimp were massive, crispy, and absolutely delicious. Pickle fries are a fun, tangy treat and the tuna salad are made in a way the chefs at The Dam Bar & Grill can only accomplish. The portions were generous, the flavors were on point, and the atmosphere was chill and vibing. Whether you’re in the mood for classic comfort food or something with a twist, this spot has it all. I’ll definitely be back for another round of that amazing French onion soup!

The atmosphere was great, with a charming 'dive bar' vibe, despite being in the upscale town of Geneva. We ordered a couple of drinks and sampled a few appetizers. The food surpassed expectations for bar fare—my wife enjoyed the pulled pork sliders, while I had the chicken tenders and coconut shrimp. All three dishes hit the spot. The service was quick and attentive. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out Dam Bar.

Another great restaurant in Geneva. Just off the river with plenty of parking in the area. This is not a place to get a salad. Get one of their burger specialities. I had the "Dam" beaver burger. It was super tasty.

My 12-year-old and I visited The Dam Bar & Grill in Geneva, IL, today while at our favorite fishing spot. We weren’t sure if my child could enter, but we went in and asked. The waitress and bartender were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We loved the vibrant atmosphere!We ordered the blackened cod fish sandwich with onion rings on the side. It was hands-down the best fish sandwich we’ve ever had, and the onion rings were fantastic too. I highly recommend this place!After finishing our meal, we left happy and started walking back when the bartender caught up with us. I had accidentally left my phone on the table, and he went out of his way to return it. His kindness and honesty truly made our day, reminding us that there are still wonderful people in the world. We came here for lunch and let me just say this place is underrated. Great food, kind service, and reasonable prices. They also had a very clean bathroom when I went in to wash my hands. TVs had multiple sports on, which is nice. I had the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was delicious. A good hefty amount of meat and well prepared sauces. Coworkers had tried a wrap, a burger, and fried shrimp and they all loved it too!

Edit: I can not stress enough, how flavorful and cooked to perfection, their burgers are! Highly recommend. Such a great local place. Clean. I've had nothing short of exemplary service from the bartenders, Rachael, Vanessa, and T. Try the dam burger! Per my request, you can get a med rare burger. So good! Good homemeade food, great service, reasonable, fun place. CLEAN!

It was our first time in the restaurants and the weight staff were fantastic. We sat at the bar, got really quick service, good food, and a beer. Will definitely be back again.
